The Building Performance Engineering New Grad will support energy planning and carbon reduction efforts, working alongside experienced engineers to develop data-driven solutions that align with client sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

Optimize performance of existing and new facilities

Compile and analyze building data on energy use and carbon emissions

Support planning and tracking of energy and carbon metrics

Review building drawings, automation systems, and facility data

Conduct analysis, calculations, site surveys, and data collection

Prepare reports and utility incentive applications

Attend internal and external meetings

Identify and analyze energy efficiency measures

Draft pre-functional checklists and conduct field testing

Prioritize buildings and equipment for monitoring

Manage issues logs and support corrective action planning

Qualification

Bachelor of Science in EngineeringEngineer-In-Training certificationEnergy conservation codes knowledgeEnergy utilities knowledgeMicrosoft Office proficiencyInterest in advanced technologyCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsAdapt

Required

Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering, or equivalent required

Strong verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to listen effectively, and solicit input from others

Strong organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently, and the ability to manage resource procurement and utilization

Strong interest in the application and research of advanced technology

Ability to fit into our culture of growth, innovation, accountability, and adaptability

Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays
