Responsibilities
Overseeing tax compliance, planning, and consulting services for a diverse client base
Advising clients and developing a trusted advisor relationship
Leading and mentoring tax teams
Reviewing complex tax returns
Managing client relationships
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Leading clients and teams with excellence in project management and relationship development
Advising clients on a variety of tax issues, resulting in successful completion of tax planning, advisory, accounting, and compliance projects
Developing a team of tax consultants and other subject matter experts to ensure exceptional client service
Cultivating existing business client relationships and advancing opportunities with new prospect leads
Qualification
Required
7+ years of tax experience within a public accounting and/or consulting firm, or equivalent experience in industry tax leadership
CPA, EA license, or another recognized certification is required
Client-oriented work ethic, committed to high-quality results
Creative problem-solving skills with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills and a passion for helping clients
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, financial institution, and real estate industries
Experience in professional services and manufacturing
