Create a nationally recognized extramurally funded research program
Provide innovative, high-quality teaching

Teach fundamental civil engineering courses in construction engineering and/or construction materials
Engage with students on construction engineering career and project topics
Engage with industry to remain current with industry happenings and leverage relationships for the benefit of students and the department
Contribute to departmental, college and university-wide service efforts
Propose new service activities to bolster existing service opportunities
Qualification
Required
Applicants must have earned a PhD or foreign equivalent degree, in civil engineering or a related discipline, by the date of appointment
