Accounting Coordinator (Property/Real Estate)
SQRL is a fast-growing automotive service organization with a dynamic portfolio of locations. They are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to manage accounting functions related to the company’s real estate holdings, requiring property or real estate accounting experience.
Responsibilities
Manage accounting processes for the company’s real estate properties, including AP/AR, general ledger entries, and month-end close
Prepare, analyze, and maintain property-related financial records, schedules, and reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for real estate assets and projects
Coordinate with internal operations, property management, and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting
Process invoices, reconciliations, and expense tracking related to property operations and development
Assist with lease administration reporting, rent schedules, CAM reconciliations, and related financial tasks
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
Provide general accounting support to the broader finance and administrative team as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in real estate or property accounting required
Strong understanding of AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, and property-level financials
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools
Ability to work on-site full-time in Hempstead, NY
