Responsibilities

Prepare film ultimate P&Ls related to film acquisitions, film financing, and production

Analyze impact of distribution strategy (theatrical and non-theatrical) and windowing economics on film profitability

Provide day to day support to Business Affairs team in deal negotiations via financial scenario analysis

Develop and execute cross-portfolio initiatives and strategies across the NBCU Studio Group

Work closely with groups across Universal Pictures throughout film greenlight process

Formulate presentations for executive management on current UFEG and NBCU Studio Group initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree

2+ years of relevant industry experience (strategic planning, management consulting, business development or investment banking, ideally in the entertainment industry)

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including significant financial modeling experience

Superior strategic acumen and relationship skills

Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management, ranging from senior corporate executives to business unit managers and third parties

Proven project management skills

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to author/deliver presentations

Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Preferred

Prior experience with film deal analysis & ultimates and/or prior investment banking or management consulting experience preferred

A solid understanding of the film industry and/or broader media industry and business models

Superior Excel modeling & PowerPoint experience required
