Responsibilities

Support and aid in administering standardized Health & Safety processes to ensure compliance to federal, state, provincial and local regulations and corporate policies and procedures
Help achieve world class status and impact corporate savings through the elimination of occupational injuries/illnesses, property damage and improvement of production efficiency as well as safeguarding the health and safety of all employees
Focus on health and safety compliance, Wellbeing, Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001), and health and safety improvement goals
Directly aid in the day-to-day processes that support WBHS
Rotate approximately every six months to other manufacturing sites or to corporate WBHS

Required

Pursuing an associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Willing to work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round

Preferred

Working towards a Bachelor's degree in an Environmental, Safety, Engineering, Science, or related field
Currently a Sophomore or Junior at an accredited university at the time of hire
Strong leadership characteristics
Strong interest in manufacturing and manufacturing operations in the automotive industry
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
Previous internship with an Automotive manufacturer
