Responsibilities

Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, typically involving a large project staff

Establish client relations and be involved in business development, marketing, contractual, design and production meetings

Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule

Implement QA/QC procedures

Work on diverse remedial engineering projects that with a wide range of contaminants (VOCs/SVOCs/metals/PCBs/ NAPL) in all types of media (soil/groundwater/sediment/bedrock/abandoned mines, etc.) utilizing innovative remedial technologies (P&T/removal/containment/dredging/ISS/chemical oxidation/bioremediation/capping)

Lead team of staff engineers in preparation of design deliverables including engineering design reports, construction drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates and construction schedules with support from HDR’s national practice leads

Participate in meetings with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve technical issues and negotiate remedial actions

Will also serve as a consultant and supervisor of waste and remedial construction management projects as needed

Work independently on technical tasks involving data analysis, interpreting results, and preparing technical reports, plans and specifications

Delegate and supervise junior engineers on waste and remediation design components and staff of professionals and technicians on remedial investigations

Train and mentor personnel as established by strategic plans

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

7 years related experience

A minimum 2 years project management experience

Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license

MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)

Demonstrated leadership skills
