Responsibilities
Join the Tax practice in the Silicon Valley office on a full-time basis
Represent public and private companies, private funds, portfolio companies, and alternative investment vehicles in the tax aspects of fund formations, limited partner investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other similar transactional tax matters
Possess strong deal management, drafting, communication, negotiation and analytical skills
Comprehend how particular agreements fit within a larger landscape of agreements and goals
Possess strong communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and have the ability to work independently
Qualification
Required
Highly qualified midlevel associate with law firm experience
Excellent academic credentials
Three to six years of law firm experience
Experience representing public and private companies, private funds, portfolio companies, and alternative investment vehicles in the tax aspects of fund formations, limited partner investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other similar transactional tax matters
Strong deal management skills
Strong drafting skills
