Musco Lighting is a global leader in sports and large-area lighting solutions, headquartered in Oskaloosa, Iowa. They are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to generate market information, qualify long-range projects, and support the sales management team in achieving strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Generate market information relevant to the assigned territory

Qualify long-range projects exceeding 12 months via face-to-face customer meetings

Effectively present and differentiate Musco's products and services to customers with projects timed to orders exceeding 12 months

Conduct field market research examining the potential sales of new products and services

Provide support to Sales Management to achieve short and long-term strategic goals

Attend tradeshows and conferences, and support the internal Team with initiatives

Ability and desire to travel 25-30%

Required

College degree in Sports Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Business or a related field

Passion for selling and building trusting relationships with our customers

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups

Proven organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage the workload as it relates to customer visits, project deadlines and internal communications

Work collaboratively with the internal Team to support customers

Self-disciplined to work independently to achieve results

Tenacious, able to persevere through sales challenges and setbacks

Work collaboratively with Musco's internal Sales Coordinator Team and external Field Sales Team to support customers

Strong technical aptitude, ability to understand and present Musco products and services

Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset

Motivated to learn and develop

Ability and desire to travel 25-30%
