Responsibilities
Assist in developing, maintaining, and supporting COBOL-based applications
Analyze business and technical requirements to contribute to system design
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code under the guidance of senior developers
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (QA, product, support) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Learn from experienced developers and take on increasing responsibility over time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Understanding of programming fundamentals and software development life cycle (SDLC)
Curiosity, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn legacy and modern technologies
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Desire to grow within a supportive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
Preferred
Exposure to COBOL through coursework, internships, or self-learning
