Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a Graphic Design Intern to collaborate alongside their proposal team to create visually appealing graphics for proposal documents. This role offers hands-on experience in graphic design, allowing the intern to develop their portfolio and contribute to various design projects across the proposal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the proposal team to understand project requirements and design needs

Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for proposals

Participate in storyboarding and document set-up meetings and identify where artwork and editorial illustrations can strategically be used

Assist in designing templates and visual elements for proposals using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) that align with proposal objectives and the target audience

Create visual solutions that effectively communicate ideas and data - layouts, type, fonts, colors, headers, infographics, pictures/images, charts/tables, and diagrams graphics

Edit and refine graphics based on feedback from team members

Ensure all design materials are consistent with branding and style guidelines

Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position

Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position
