Responsibilities
Perform electrical validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and sub-systems
Execute test plans and record results accurately, ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards
Operate test and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, and data acquisition systems
Support engineering design teams by assembling, testing, and debugging prototype circuits and PCBs
Conduct board-level rework, including soldering, desoldering, and replacing SMT and through-hole components
Build and test custom cables and harnesses per engineering drawings or wiring schematics
Perform diagnostics and repair of returned (RMA) products, identifying root causes of electrical or mechanical failures
Qualification
Required
Must have experience in electrical testing and validation within Manufacturing test group
Must have experience in electrical testing and validation within RMA product diagnostics/repair team
Must have experience in electrical testing and validation within Engineering design team
Ability to operate oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other test equipment independently
Skilled in soldering, desoldering, and reworking SMT PCBs of current technology sizes
General low-voltage electrical knowledge (0–24V)
Understanding of assembly/disassembly procedures with ESD mitigation awareness
Ability to make electrical cables from sketches or drawings
Highly detail-focused, requiring careful and disciplined execution of tasks with multiple steps
Preferred
Knowledge of board-level communication standards (SPI, I2C)
Ability to identify and source alternate OEM components (e.g., substitute capacitors)
Semiconductor equipment manufacturing background
