Responsibilities
Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner. Listen to and appropriately escalate customer concerns to management with a positive attitude. Offer product suggestions when appropriate
Manage lane according to service standards while maintaining financial responsibility. Accurately handle all cash register operations; operate cashiering equipment accurately and efficiently recognizing all forms of tender and providing the correct change when appropriate
Operate department equipment and tools. Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; Put up discarded or returned merchandise and stock front end products by handling and moving merchandise efficiently and safely; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost. Return carts to shopping cart corral. Report faulty equipment and hazards to management
Notify management of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be 16 years of age
Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
Ability to communicate, understand and follow English instructions Successful background check and all required On-Boarding tasks
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
High standard of integrity and reliability
Basic computer skills required to participate in online training
