Responsibilities

Performs routine vehicle inspections, oil changes, other fluids services (brake fluid, coolant, transmission, etc.), flat tire repair, tire dismounting/mounting/balancing and other maintenance-related services

Interprets and completes work orders and related documentation assigned by shop manager

Documents include, but are not limited to, parts requisitions, diagnostics reports, inspection forms and recommendations

Assists other technicians as assigned

Maintains clean and orderly work area. Returns shop supplied equipment to proper locations, ready for other technicians to use

Qualification

Automotive Trade School certificationASE certificationVehicle inspectionVehicle repairCommunication skills

Required

0 – 2 years experience in inspecting and repairing cars and light trucks

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License and satisfactory 39 month driving record

Preferred

Automotive Trade School certification

ASE certification or equivalent knowledge in areas of repair responsibility

Automotive trade school certification or equivalent experience
