Responsibilities
Research top-tier podcasts, media outlets, TV segments, and journalists
Draft and refine media pitches tailored to finance, macro, travel, and global storytelling
Build & maintain media lists, outreach trackers, and pitch cadences
Learn how to pitch and secure interviews with major U.S. and UK media
Coordinate outreach for book launches, author appearances, speaking opportunities
Track responses, follow-ups, and scheduling opportunities
Support creation of press kits, bios, media decks, and promotional assets
Optional: Assist in social media positioning for major influencer alignment
Qualification
Required
Have a passion for media, journalism, PR, communications, or content strategy
Think globally, not locally
Can imagine reaching out to BBC, CNBC, or top-5 U.S. podcasts—not just local publications
Are articulate, resourceful, and persistent
Are elegant communicators (written + verbal)
Can craft compelling stories and angles
Are self-directed, ambitious, and able to chase stretch opportunities
Students or recent graduates (Journalism, Communications, PR, Media, English, International Relations, Finance)
