Responsibilities
Perform quality checks on trailing documents to ensure completeness and before submission to investors
Work with partners to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to trailing documentation, such as missing signatures, incorrect data, or incomplete forms
Maintain organized electronic files and records of trailing documents in accordance with company policies and industry standards
Ensure all documents are properly filed and indexed for easy retrieval
Review and respond to ad-hoc investor requests for documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and servicing departments, to streamline post-closing processes and enhance efficiency
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, post-closing, and loan documentation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
A degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus
