Construction
Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings or computer-generated reports
Assisting drafters in developing the structural design of products
Using drafting tools or computer-assisted design software
Conferring with other professionals to implement operating procedures
Resolving product malfunctions or providing technical recommendations
Recommending design modifications to eliminate product malfunctions
Conducting research that tests or analyzes the performance of equipment
Investigating product difficulties to diagnose faulty operation
Testing models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of experience
Self-motivated and committed to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
Preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer is a plus
Autodesk AutoCAD proficiency is a plus
Specific interest in a career in designing Utility-HVAC-Plumbing systems using the Design-Build approach
