They are currently seeking a Senior Accounting professional to join their CAAS group, responsible for client communication, monitoring financial activities, and supervising junior staff.

Responsibilities

Communicates directly with clients in collaboration with managers and liaises with third‑party advisors

Working knowledge of personal and corporate charts of accounts

Monitors daily client activity, handles requests, and conducts timely follow‑ups on outstanding matters

Reviews bank balances daily and facilitates funding with the client, as needed

Develops working knowledge of insurance coverages, retirement plans, and gift/estate planning concepts

Tracks commissionable income and prepares monthly commission reconciliations

Assists clients with applications and bank communications

Reviews daily and monthly bank reconciliations

Prepares monthly cash‑flow reports

Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities

Utilizes available tools to run desks efficiently (e.g., credit card allocation module, bill scheduler/repetitive, repository, and other tools as directed by managers)

Supervises, mentors, and manages Analysts and Associates

Identifies inefficiencies and implements changes (e.g., going paperless, electronic payments vs. live checks)

Other related duties as assigned

Required

2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required

Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
