Bilingual Scheduling Coordinator
Texas Hearing Institute is a pediatric non-profit organization seeking a bilingual scheduling coordinator to join their professional team. The role involves scheduling patient appointments and providing administrative support services to the providers.

Responsibilities
Schedule/reschedule initial and recurring appointments
Monitor patient attendance
May occasionally be required to discuss low attendance rates with parents
Patient check out including collecting payment and scheduling follow-up visits
Collaborate with authorization department to monitor authorization deadlines
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Only bilingual candidates will be considered
Excellent customer/patient service skills and great phone etiquette
Candidates must be organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks
“Can-do” attitude and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous administrative or clerical experience in a clinical setting
Verbal and written communication skills
Professional personal presentation
Standard PC usage
Office organization
Reliability
Stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; public speaking; hear; see; bend, able to lift 15 pounds; drive a motor vehicle
Job requires extensive computer use, employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard/mouse and computer screen for long periods of time
Preferred
Previous experience as medical scheduler preferred
