Responsibilities

Responsible to support safety efforts in his/her department, participates in programs and systems to promote a safety culture at the site
Promptly and timely complies with site’s quality system databases (CPAR, Customer Complaints, QSA, etc.)
Performs safety behavior observations
Intervenes when unsafe acts or conditions are encountered
Understands, supports, and strictly adheres to site standards, policies, and procedures relevant to safety, industrial hygiene, security/CTPAT requirements, and environmental
Audits conformance to safety standards
Participates in incident investigations identifying root causes and appropriate corrective action to improve safety and environmental performance in the area
Other job duties as may be assigned from time to time
Responsible for installing electrical equipment, instrumentation, and related equipment using drawings and manuals supplied (PLC, DCS, MCC, Field Instruments, Control Panels, Valves, HVAC, Lighting, UPS, Transformers, Motors, Conduit, Cables)
Responsible for overhauls, troubleshoots, repairs, and performs PM work on instrumentation, and electrical equipment
Responsible for keeping accurate records of work performed, time spent on jobs, and materials used
Responsible for recommending and implementing improvement ideas/methods for maintenance to lower costs and to improve equipment performance and reliability, and personnel safety
Ensures all maintenance practices are in compliance with State and Federal environmental regulations

Required

High School diploma or GED required
Basic working knowledge of the Materials Management and Production Planning modules in SAP
Proficiency in Excel and Word Processing software (Microsoft Office, including Access)

Preferred

Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and one-year related experience
3 or more years of E&I process manufacturing experience with trade school diploma/certification desired
