The role involves facilitating ECAD design support, leading the creation of various electrical documentation, and utilizing project management software for configuration management.

Responsibilities
Facilitate electrical (ECAD) design support through collaboration with R&D Engineers and Engineering Support Specialists
Lead the creation of schematics, printed wiring boards, circuit card assemblies, bills of materials, and other documentation using accepted methods and techniques
Utilize ARL’s Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (Teamcenter) to properly archive and perform configuration management of all design documentation
Facilitate work intake, estimation, and execution; reporting to senior management as requested
Participate in, and occasionally lead meetings and design reviews
Maintain all required compliance training related to business systems, safety, and security
Qualification
Required
Past success utilizing ECAD software to develop schematics, printed wiring boards, circuit card assemblies, library parts, and bill of materials
Past success in leading or supervising teams
Working knowledge of printed wiring board construction, fabrication, and assembly
Past success with project deliverables and team tracking
Preferred
Altium ECAD software
Siemens Teamcenter PLM software
Microsoft Office Product Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
Significant knowledge of electrical systems such as power electronics, analog, digital, RF, and EMI
IPC CID and / or CID+ certification, or general knowledge of IPC standards
Current eligibility for access to classified information at the Secret level or higher and may be subject to a government background investigation to upgrade clearance eligibility, if required
