Responsibilities
Driving the risk management framework implementation and ongoing maintenance within the U.S
Collaborating closely with the business as well as other control function leaders to ensure an integrated three lines of defense
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping risk strategy, and embedding risk management principles into business planning and operational execution
Preparing and presenting regular risk dashboards, reports, and insights to senior management, advising on emerging trends and issues
Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging best practices, including regulatory expectations, for risk management
Collaborating with the business to develop meaningful key performance indicators and key risk indicators, enabling data-driven risk management and performance optimization
Fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management throughout the organization
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive experience in risk management
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field
Deep knowledge of risk management principles and practices
Risk management experience in a Systemically Important Financial Institution or Systemically Important Financial Market Utility
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data to identify actionable insights
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to concisely convey complex risk framework components to diverse audiences
