This internship provides hands-on experience in proposal development, project management, and creative communication to support the pursuit of multi-million-dollar projects.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and coordination of proposals for various projects
Support the research and analysis of potential clients and industry trends
Help maintain and update the proposal database and library of templates, resumes, and project descriptions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and resources for proposals
Format and proofread proposal documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism
Track proposal deadlines and coordinate timelines to ensure timely submissions
Participate in proposal strategy meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
Assist with administrative tasks related to proposal development and submission
Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position

Qualification
Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and taking on new challenges
Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review
Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen
Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis
Work primarily in an office environment
Frequently sits for extended periods of time
Frequently use a computer keyboard and office related equipment
Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping or bending
Must successfully pass color/vision examinations as required by the position
Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals as required by the position
Preferred
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
