Bid Manager - Next Generation
Atos is a leader in digital transformation, and they are seeking a Bid Manager to lead complex, multi-tower bids. This role involves orchestrating the entire bid lifecycle, collaborating with various teams, and leveraging AI tools to deliver winning proposals.

Responsibilities
Lead and orchestrate bids
Own the end-to-end bid management process across qualification, planning, submission, and handover
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (sales, solution, finance, legal, delivery) through tight timelines and shifting priorities
Govern the proposal plan, risk register, and quality reviews to maintain control and compliance through each pursuit phase
Shape and execute winning strategies
Collaborate with Sales and Solution Directors to define win themes, pricing strategy, and value messaging
Leverage AI tools for data-driven competitor analysis, content reuse, and proposal optimization. Support storytelling and executive messaging to ensure coherence between solution, pricing, and client narrative
Drive quality and compliance Use AI-assisted validation to track dependencies, review requirements, and identify risks
Manage governance checkpoints and internal approvals with precision. Ensure each proposal meets legal, commercial, and brand standards
Lead the team and foster excellence Direct and motivate bid teams of 10 to 50 members through all phases
Actively mentor bid and proposal professionals, building a collaborative and high-performance culture
Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation in bid management
Innovate with AI and digital tools
Use AI platforms such as AutogenAI, Copilot, or Mindtickle for planning, content creation, and workflow automation
Integrate digital collaboration tools for stakeholder engagement and knowledge reuse
Continuously explore how AI can improve accuracy, speed, and competitiveness in the bid process
Qualification
Required
Proven success managing large, complex pursuits or strategic proposals
Strong leadership across cross-functional and multicultural teams
Deep understanding of bid strategy, procurement, and commercial governance
Exceptional organizational and stakeholder management skills
High commercial awareness and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting to senior executives
Hands-on experience with AI tools for bid design, content creation, and analysis such as AutogenAI, Copilot, or Mindtickle
Ability to use AI and analytics for risk modeling, scenario planning, and proposal optimization
Familiar with workflow automation, digital collaboration, and knowledge management platforms
Proactive in adopting new technologies to drive efficiency and innovation
