Network Engineer (Data Center Infrastructure and Services)

Responsibilities
Implementation & Deployment: Implement and configure network hardware (routers, switches, WAPs, console and management devices) from major vendors (e.g., Juniper, Arista, Ciena, etc.) to support various data center services and applications
Operations & Maintenance: Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot complex network issues, including BGP, IS-IS, and overlay technologies like VXLAN/EVPN, ensuring optimal network performance and stability
Capacity Planning: Conduct regular capacity planning and performance tuning to anticipate future demands and ensure network resources are adequately allocated
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration standards
Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Network Engineers, Security teams, Critical Facility personnel, and application owners to align network solutions with business requirements
Willing and able to work within a 24/7 operation support model, including weekends and holidays
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience deploying and operating large-scale, enterprise-class data center networks
Deep understanding of TCP/IP stack, Ethernet, and fiber optic technologies
Expertise with Data Center fabrics and architectures (e.g., Spine-Leaf, Clos networks)
Proficiency in advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and switching concepts
Strong practical experience with VXLAN, EVPN, and other network virtualization technologies
US Citizen
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network incidents quickly
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple critical projects simultaneously
Must be willing and able to rack and stack network equipment that may weigh up to 50 lbs
Preferred
Professional-level certifications such as CCNP Data Center, JNCIP-DC, or equivalent
