Territory Account Manager

The Territory Account Manager will be responsible for managing business in the West territory, driving revenue, and developing strong customer relationships while executing sales strategies and collaborating with channel partners.

Responsibilities

Strategically manage its business for the West territory
Drive revenue
Increase market share
Develop strong customer and partner relationships
Develop new business
Execute the sales go-to-market strategy
Work with channel partners to apply a hands-on approach to driving sales and channel functions
Establishes a professional working relationship (up to the executive level) with clients and prospects
Develop a core understanding of the unique business needs
Prospect and nurture growth opportunities using the account planning process
Actively manages planning process through scheduled reviews and updates
Build and drive the execution of a territory account plan that includes working with partners and internal specialists to increase win rate
Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
Cultivate relationships with our channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach to our customers
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and the ability to follow a structured sales process
Proficient understanding forecast methodologies and providing weekly updates
Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
Ability to manage excellent Sales Force hygiene
Thorough understanding and ability to meet KPIs

Required

5+ years of proven track record in sales, technical sales, or a related field
Technical aptitude of IP networking and wireless products, software solutions, and service offerings as well as competitive offerings
A proven self-starter who is open to coaching and mentoring
A positive track record of delivering and overachieving revenue goals
Experience presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences including C-level executives in small and large group settings
Proficient understanding of MEDDICC and SFDC forecast methodologies
Fluency in English language is a must
Experience working with IT and/or networking and wireless products with the ability to tap into technology to provide value added business outcomes

Preferred

Candidate residence within the Colorado, New Mexico, and West Texas territory is strongly preferred
