They are seeking a Lead Analyst for their FP&A- Product Pricing & Economics team to enhance understanding of fund economics and pricing, conduct competitive intelligence, and collaborate with various teams to align pricing with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Lead product pricing research and analysis on new and existing funds to ensure the competitive health of our product lineup and to support strategic pricing and capital allocation decisions

Synthesize analysis, insights, and thought leadership into compelling storylines and actionable strategies. Prepare and deliver presentation materials to senior leaders and business partners

Maintain broad knowledge and awareness of the investment industry, competitor products, and Vanguard's fund line-up

Build financial models to evaluate pricing strategies and their impact on revenue, capital allocation, and enterprise financial health; deliver insights that optimize shareholder value and inform long-term strategic planning

Collaborate with business partners (e.g., Product Strategy, Marketing, Business Units) to determine how new and existing fund pricing can drive enterprise strategic goals

Required

Minimum of five years related work experience, with at least two years financial services industry experience

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

Economics or Finance degree preferred

Preferred

MBA or other graduate degree preferred

CFA or other financial designation preferred

Experience with management, analysis, and visualization of large datasets

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in identifying pragmatic solutions to abstract problems

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, Power BI, and/or Tableau
