Contact Center Lending Specialist

Service Credit Union is seeking a Contact Center Lending Specialist who will be responsible for providing high-quality service to members by processing consumer loan applications and assisting with loan-related inquiries. The role involves guiding members through the lending process and supporting them with non-loan related account services.

Responsibilities

Receive and process consumer loan applications efficiently and accurately
Guide members through each stage of the application process, ensuring they understand requirements and next steps
Identify and recommend beneficial products and services to meet member needs
Conduct follow-up with members regarding application status, required documentation, or additional information needed
Provide accurate information regarding lending products, including GAP, CL/CD, and Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP)
Answer member questions regarding basic account information, loan products, and real estate lending services
Meet or exceed department production and account goals while maintaining a high standard of service quality
Respond to member inquiries regarding loan products, rates, terms, and conditions
Provide accurate information on basic account services and general banking inquiries
Assist members with navigating lending resources, tools, and digital platforms

Required

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power point, and various web-based applications required
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred

Preferred knowledge of Meridian Link/Loans PQ/TrueStage/Route66
Prior success cross selling payment protections
Proven track record identifying product matching
