Responsibilities
Improving Advanced Design System (ADS)
Enabling software solutions to be developed and deployed by leading technology companies
Automating workflow involved in various technology domains such as chiplet/3DIC, 5G, 6G, etc
Providing whole-product solutions
Investigating new technologies, such as AI and machine learning, design automation, 6G, and their applications
Conducting design reviews, usability testing and customer visits to validate requirements
Collaborating with other software/solution architects to form holistic solutions
Mentoring and consulting other individual engineers
Promoting best practices in software engineering such as agile software development, test-driven development, code review, and incorporating customer feedback
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering, Math, Software Engineering or equivalent field
5+ years in software development on Windows and/or Linux OS platforms
must have demonstrated track record of solid object-oriented design experience and C++ programming skills
the ability to design, implement, test, and document a solution from a high-level requirement specification
proven leadership abilities
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
a keen problem solver and critical thinker, with a positive and team-oriented approach
Preferred
knowledge of one or more of Keysight EDA products—e.g. ADS, SystemVue, GoldenGate, IC-CAP, EMPro, Genesys)
knowledge of other EDA tools from Cadence, Mentor or Synopsys
RF and Microwave technical knowledge
working knowledge of graphical user interface design
working knowledge of Python and its family of tools
working knowledge of semi-conductor industry
experience collaborating with both internal and external partners and customers
