Responsibilities

Support Tapestry’s annual profitability benchmarking exercise, which entails detailed quantitative and qualitative research to establish acceptable levels of taxable income under Transfer Pricing principles for Tapestry’s global operations
Conduct market research and analysis to document current industry and economic trends in Tapestry’s operating jurisdictions globally
Ensure retail sales and payments are recorded accurately in the general ledger
Reconcile cash and credit card receivable accounts
Investigate cash deposit overages/shortages. Ensure incident reports are filed and communicated to Loss Prevention
Track and report expenses related to our business processes
Work directly in our system to automate accounting and reporting of key areas of spend
Support the financial close process through partnerships formed with the accounting team

Required

Proficiency in Finance
Ability to support Tapestry's annual profitability benchmarking exercise
Ability to conduct market research and analysis
Ability to ensure retail sales and payments are recorded accurately in the general ledger
Ability to reconcile cash and credit card receivable accounts
Ability to investigate cash deposit overages/shortages
Ability to track and report expenses related to business processes
Ability to work directly in the system to automate accounting and reporting
Ability to support the financial close process through partnerships with the accounting team
Completion of the online Tapestry application
Completion of the HireVue video interview

Preferred

Interest in Business, Economics, Finance, and/or Accounting
Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize, adapt and handle multiple tasks
