Generator Technician
Generac is part of a dynamic and growing industry focused on clean energy and energy management. The Generator Technician will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various generator systems while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various generator brands and models
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on power generation systems
Basic understanding of gaseous and liquid fuel systems
Execute power system startups and routine service checks
Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
Work with AC/DC control systems and automatic transfer switches
Deliver professional and friendly customer service
Document findings and repairs
Qualification
Required
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
Knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and wiring schematics
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Component familiarity with understanding of control boards, alternators, voltage regulators and monitoring systems
Preferred
Factory trained certification preferred
Experience working with 10kw-150kw generators
