Manager, Engineering Systems
Lonza is a global leader in life sciences, and they are seeking an Engineering Systems Manager to lead equipment reliability and compliance at their GMP-regulated manufacturing site in Tampa. The role involves collaborating across teams to ensure operational excellence and support innovation in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Lead engineering support programs including CMMS, calibration, OT systems, and MRO inventory management
Ensure equipment reliability, data integrity, and audit readiness
Oversee calibration programs and analytical equipment lifecycle activities
Manage OT systems and ensure cybersecurity, backups, and compliance
Drive storeroom optimization and critical spare parts management
Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA execution
Support regulatory inspections and internal audits
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA/EMA regulations, and 21 CFR Part 11
Expertise in calibration, metrology, and CMMS systems (Blue Mountain, Maximo, SAP)
Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, BAS, EMS, and cybersecurity controls
Ability to lead technical teams and collaborate cross-functionally
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
Bachelor's degree in environmental, safety, chemical engineering or related discipline required
10+ years of experience required preferably in pharma or GMP manufacturing with supervisory experience
