Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and debugging of RF devices, down to component level
Run tests on Viasat products and report results
Performing RF testing; installation, set-up, tuning and data analysis
Assist in building, troubleshooting and maintenance of Specialized Test Equipment used in product Assist in documentation writing, such as Assembly Drawings, BoM’s, Wiring Diagrams, ATP's, etc

Required

5+ years of related experience working in the electronics field
3+ years troubleshooting and repairing RF devices
Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Experience testing electronic products
Ability to read schematics and understand electronic circuits
Familiarity with common test equipment and troubleshooting methods
Ability to follow a test procedure and complete necessary paperwork
Good working knowledge of MS Office for documentation creation, and modification
Must be able to obtain a US Top Secret Clearance
Must be a US Citizen

Preferred

Hands on experience setting up and working with RF test set ups
Experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers and RF test equipment
Experience RF transmitters, RF receivers, and amplifiers
