Responsibilities

Partner with our IT teams to harden our endpoint management, corporate infrastructure, identity services, and network
Design and implement controls that protect company information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse
Own our endpoint detection and response platform, email security stack, and phishing simulation and awareness programs
Advise employees on securing endpoints and office AV and network gear, and publish clear runbooks
Build and deliver training that grows a culture of security, accountability, and practical awareness
Contribute to Faire’s security roadmaps by being the resident expert on the latest security threats, and making recommendations for improving our security posture

Required

5+ years in enterprise security with hands-on experience
Practical experience in at least two of these areas: endpoint security, network security, data security, security operations, threat management
Experience writing policies and processes and supporting audits for frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOX, and SOC 2 Type II
Strong written and verbal communication
Analytical, outcomes-driven mindset with a bias for action
Ability to lead change and influence without authority through empathy and relationship-building
A passion for programming and solving problems with code (Python, Ruby, or Go)
