Responsibilities
Supporting the C-SAR System Engineering team to ensure all engineering contractual requirements and deliverables are met
Support all required IPTs, TIMs, WGs and Ad hoc meetings
Participate in CDRL generation and deliveries based on customer prescribed schedule
SecDevOps processes and related Agile practices (Atlassian suite)
Lead/Conduct studies and capture technical analysis in support future design reviews
Support Reliability analysis
Requirements analysis
System design and architecture
System documentation updates
Work closely with Product Owners, system developers, test, and on-site user support personnel to support system updates, analyze and resolve system issues, and ensure project objectives are met
Provide technical advice to our customers on architectures and potential solutions
Develop and deliver effective customer presentations (support design reviews, status reports, kickoff meetings, test plans) demonstrating an ability to communicate comfortably at a system level
Attend and support highly technical engineering team meetings
Travel as necessary to attend conferences and customer meetings
Qualification
Required
10+ years engineering
BS in SE, CS, EE, ME, or other engineering equivalent
Support programs through SRR, PDR, CDR or equivalent design reviews
Experience with SCN or satellite ground systems
Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
Complete knowledge of Agile methodology
Candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable with supporting multiple groups of developers, engineers, and testers
Candidate must be able to articulate technical concepts orally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer and users
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Working knowledge of space systems, including ground systems and system development processes
Preferred
Cryptographic equipment (e.g., KG-252, KG-255) and Front End Processor (FEP) integration, configuration, and troubleshooting within ground system environments
Space to Ground ICDs
SATCOM mission planning
Risk management
MBSE
Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities to include virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization (CNFs)
Risk Management Framework (RMF)
