Responsibilities
To perform all duties related to the preparation, distribution, cataloging, and storage of lab specimens for testing
To adhere to departmental specimen identification policies and quality controls
To utilize lab and hospital information systems and provide general administrative support to the laboratory staff in support of laboratory operations, such as filing, record maintenance, responding to client calls, and mail delivery
To serve as a technical resource to others
To orient new employees as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Biological Science or health-related field
one (1) year experience required OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required or required to be obtained within 30 days of employment
