Responsibilities

Collect and analyze data. Make a determination of failure mode, update databases and present test methodology as required

Implementing lab processes for equipment: scheduling, tracking, maintenance, calibration, and repair

Support common lab practices. Identify & recommend continuous improvement opportunities

Actively participate in Lab team goals and HOS activities

Assure compliance with established ETS processes

Qualification

Vacuum Technology DegreeUltra-high vacuum operationsVacuum equipment knowledgeProficient in Word & ExcelTroubleshooting skillsReading electronic schematicsCommunication skillsIndependent workDecision making

Required

Vacuum Technology Degree or willingness to complete core Vacuum Courses at Normandale Community College or minimum 5 years of experience in ultra-high vacuum operations

Familiar with vacuum equipment such as pumps, valves, and leak detectors

Ability to identify and diagnose root cause and resolution

Proficient in Word & Excel, including VBA

Proactive approach to troubleshooting unusual technical problems
