Production Control Supervisor (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Owns the Parts Inventory (customer/internally furnished) levels to ensure production orders are fulfilled, while keeping inventory at acceptable financial levels
Manages 3PL relationships
Manages/strategizes internal suppliers to come up with effective plans to support MRO operations
Responsible for Shipping and Receiving Personnel
Corresponds with Customers regarding repairs/quotes
Analyzes inventory and coordinates with purchasing on replenishment processes and stocking levels
Plans and maintain proper staffing levels in area of responsibility
Ensure and actively support employees’ career development
Manages team performance by addressing issues promptly, providing actionable feedback, and resolving conflicts to maintain operational effectiveness
Ensures workplace is safe and free of significant hazards
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Experience in leading CI events and the use of CI tools and lean methodology
Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations and/ or aerospace industry
Engineering and Operations experience in a Landing Gear MRO environment is highly preferred
Knowledge of agency (ex, FAA) regulations for aircraft maintenance & certification is highly preferred
