Responsibilities

Collaborate with other teams to understand their needs and expectations
Explore, research industry trends and emerging technologies
Built prototypes and foster other teams’ projects
Work closely with Architects for solutioning and bringing those new technologies into the enterprise ecosystem (our ecosystem is cloud based on the GCP environment)
User experience is using web-based solutions (Angular and micro-front-end technologies) but use also mobile applications for closer proximity
We structure our eco-system in microservices with a preference for Java and NodeJS
For specialized data application, we also use Python to benefit from the large eco-system of libraries
Communicate and explain new approaches to other team members when needed
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 3 (three) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation
In lieu of this, the Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 5 (five) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation
Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered
Experience with at least one of the following cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure
Experience in developing front-end and micro-frontend applications using React or Angular
Experience building mobile applications using either Android or iPhone development framework
Expertise in structuring ecosystems with microservices, utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Node.js
Experience in event-driven integrations with message queue technologies: Kafka, SNS, SQS, and RabbitMQ
Proficiency in deployment frameworks and tools, including container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
Experience working with various database technologies, including PostgreSQL and BigQuery
Experience using Python for specialized data applications, utilizing its comprehensive library ecosystem
Experience configuring and utilizing test frameworks for version and regression testing, including JUnit and Mockito
