Lecturer - CYBR 472: Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity (Extended Learning; Spring 2026)

Responsibilities
Teach CYBR 472: Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity
Cover a broad introduction to the key ideas of artificial intelligence used in the cybersecurity domain
Introduce the basics of artificial intelligence algorithms, methods, and tools for malware detection, vulnerability detection, and emerging threat detection
Provide tools and skills to future security professionals to understand artificial intelligence and develop better cybersecurity solutions utilizing state-of-the-art artificial intelligence models
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and experience teaching, or equivalent practical experience in Cybersecurity using a variety of technologies and tools
Communication and presentation skills
Course Design (can design a well-structured syllabus and select appropriate course materials)
Continuous Learning and Adaptability (commitment to staying update with latest techniques and developments)

Preferred
A master's degree in a related field and/or equivalent industry experience
Experience teaching, either as a course instructor or teaching assistant, especially in topics related to Cybersecurity or mentoring students/employees in topics related to tools and technologies used in Cybersecurity
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving a diverse campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service
