Responsibilities
Lead and continue to build-out and development of a high-performing strategic finance team, fostering a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Partner with the business to develop a comprehensive strategic financial plan, annual goal setting, multi-year forecasts, capital expenditure plans, and M&A analysis
Oversee the processes for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business goals
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate complex financial data into actionable insights for business leaders
Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the FP&A team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to maximize individual and team performance
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience leading strategic finance or FP&A teams within a public company environment
5+ years of experience in financial services, including investment banking, consulting, or a similar role
A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of what 'great' FP&A looks like in a large or public company
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams
Deep understanding of best practices in financial planning, analysis, and reporting (FP&A)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and concise insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with all levels of the organization
Experience building and implementing financial models
Ability to travel regularly between Los Angeles and New York City
Preferred
Experience with financial systems and data analytics tools a plus
