Organizes, controls, and directs the capital asset acquisition and disposal process for the Hospital
Monitors departmental performance against disbursement standards and assures that Hospital and departmental policies are observed
Serves as backup to managerial positions within Fiscal

Required

Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Working knowledge of computer and accounting systems
Ability to utilize thorough knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to utilize financial analytical skills effectively
Ability to apply oral and written communication skills effectively
Ability to utilize organizational and management skills effectively
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
Ability to support multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Five years of work related experience in Accounting or Finance required
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field required

Preferred

Participation in systems implementation preferred
Experience working with fixed assets in a hospital setting highly preferred
Knowledge of Healthcare accounting and/or governmental reporting a plus
