Account Manager - Apprenticeships
American Apprenticeships Work (AAW) is a fast-growing workforce development company helping employers train and retain the next generation of talent through high-quality apprenticeship programs. The Account Manager is responsible for supporting client relationships, assisting with onboarding and program setup, and ensuring the smooth delivery of apprenticeship programs while contributing to client satisfaction and program success.
Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between the company and participating employers, maintaining communication and responding to client inquiries
Support client satisfaction by addressing any immediate concerns and escalating issues when necessary
Assist in kick-off meetings with employers and ensure that all program components are clearly communicated
Coordinate the collection and confirmation of employer and apprentice information for DOL registration
Schedule follow-up meetings with stakeholders to finalize program details and support confirmation of mentor and apprentice roles
Support the scheduling of key meetings, including mentor onboarding, apprentice onboarding, and launch events
Work with industry and grant partners to ensure alignment with program goals and grant requirements
Ensure all stakeholders are briefed on their roles and responsibilities within the program
Track the progress of the apprenticeship program, ensuring that major milestones are on track
Prepare for monthly review meetings and assist in gathering feedback from stakeholders
Contribute to building and maintaining efficient processes that improve program delivery and enhance client satisfaction
Collect and document feedback from employers, mentors, and apprentices to identify opportunities for improvement
Provide regular updates to senior team members on program progress, client satisfaction, and any potential issues
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of experience in account management, client relations, or project coordination
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with apprenticeship programs or educational services is a plus but not required
