Journeyman Cyber Security Specialist
Canvas provides mechanical services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. The Journeyman Cyber Security Specialist will assist in governing systems and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data while providing support for incidents.

Responsibilities
Assist in governing all systems covered by AFLCMC/WIA including Research and Science Computing Services, as well as systems and applications which reside on AFLCMC/WIA managed, owned, or operated infrastructure, including connections and interfaces to cloud services
Scope encompasses all functions and services needed to ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of AFLCMC/WIA data and associated systems
Provide support for incidents and incident reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD or other United States Government (USG) ISR/SOF Organizations
OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations
Has the knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform full range of Cybersecurity tasks
Can typically work independently and applies the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise
Has the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines. Work is performed independently or under the oversight of more senior employees. (Program Office and Staff Level Support interface.)
The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in a related Field (Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security.)
Three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD or other United States Government (USG) ISR/SOF organizations
Experience in EXACTA, RMF, Vulnerability Analyses, CEIRs, POAMs
