Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values
Maintains flow of patients in accordance with time of appointment in order to avoid delays for the provider and undue waiting for patients
Collects subjective and objective data and contributes to the assessment of the patient; documents appropriately in the patient chart
Makes accurate and timely observations and documents changes in the patient’s condition in the patient chart
Retrieves messages and responds to calls from patients, pharmacies, hospitals, nursing homes and other medical offices by use of telephone and computer in a timely manner as delegated by licensed heath care provider (MD, PA, NP)
Assists the medical provider with all examinations and procedures
Keeps the exam rooms clean, disinfected and stocked with necessary supplies
Schedules follow-up procedures/appointments and specialty appointments
Explains tests and preparation as needed for adequate patient education
Monitors inventory of supplies and communicates information to Office Manager
Administers injections, vital signs, vision and auditory testing as delegated
Performs other related projects and duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program required
Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act required
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required
