Granite State Manufacturing is responsible for driving machine efficiency and ensuring safety in CNC machining processes. The Machining Process Engineer will design, implement, and optimize these processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce waste and improve performance.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains standard work for the machine shop

Develops and maintains standard work programming

Develops and maintains Continuous Improvement metrics

Troubleshoots non-conformances and implements Root Cause and Corrective Action

Design and Development of fixturing

Measure and improve first pass yield

Maintain department quality objects

Provide technical support for the machinist

Diagnoses of CNC program and tooling issues

Perform time studies to drive estimated run time improvement

Analyzation of machine performance

Liaison between Engineering, Programming and Operations

Cycle time reduction

Serve as the company subject matter expert concerning new machining technologies and equipment to reduce costs through efficiency

Support legacy and new product introduction (NPI) projects working with a team of Program Managers, Project Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Weld Engineers to meet shipment goals

Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for creating a professional, safe, and clean environment evidenced by being at work on time to perform assigned duties, following the policies of Granite State Manufacturing, always wearing safety glasses in designated areas, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, and following safety practices to prevent errors

Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by establishing effective relationships and networks with both managers/directors and staff, collaborating with them to accomplish shared purposes and goals
