Director of IT PMO
MMD Services is a global leader in their industry, undergoing rapid growth and an ambitious digital transformation. They are seeking a Director of PMO to design, implement, and lead the frameworks, processes, and tools that ensure strategic alignment, project prioritization, and value realization across the enterprise portfolio.

Responsibilities
Build and operationalize governance models that define project intake, prioritization, and decision-making processes aligned with corporate strategy and business outcomes
Develop and manage enterprise-level dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to communicate project health, resource allocation, and value delivery to executive leadership
Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of portfolio and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Clarity, or similar) to enhance visibility, collaboration, and accountability
Design and facilitate the intake process to evaluate business cases, ensure alignment with strategic priorities, and support balanced resource planning
Partner with senior executives, business sponsors, and technology leaders to align programs and projects with strategic objectives and available capacity
Establish and facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and review boards to ensure consistent oversight and decision-making
Lead the continuous evolution of PMO processes, methodologies, and competencies, scaling from foundational governance to enterprise portfolio management maturity
Oversee project and portfolio budgets, forecasting, and resource planning to maximize ROI and optimize delivery capacity
Act as a bridge between IT, business units, and operations to ensure that project execution aligns with enterprise architecture, change management, and compliance standards
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience leading enterprise PMOs, governance offices, or portfolio management functions
Proven success building or maturing PMO governance structures, including project intake and prioritization frameworks
Strong understanding of financial management, demand management, and resource forecasting
Experience implementing or optimizing enterprise PMO tools and reporting systems
Demonstrated ability to develop portfolio-level metrics, dashboards, and executive reports
Expertise in Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models
Skilled communicator and facilitator, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred
MBA or PMP/PMI certification
