Specialty Gas Engineer
Bosch USA is a global leader in technology and engineering, currently expanding its semiconductor business in the U.S. As a Specialty Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of chemical supply systems in an industrial facility to support semiconductor production.

Responsibilities
Work with vendors to start up and install new equipment at Bosch Roseville
Prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects
Modify existing equipment and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity, and cost effectiveness
Troubleshoot problems with facility systems
Develop corrective action proposals and recommendations
Provide standard operating procedures and specifications governing the operation and maintenance of facility systems and equipment
Develop installation packages for the hook-up, demolition, or relocation of production equipment
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, statutes, and codes; securing all required permits; and coordinating with appropriate local authorities
Initiate and implement continuous improvement programs using metrics and reporting systems
Train facilities mechanics as needed on systems to improve 24x7 response time
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Chemical/Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in education and 5+ year of relevant work experience required
Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and manuals
Ability to create and maintain operating and training documents and manuals
Strong communications skills with various audiences from vendors to fellow engineers to operators
Experience in chemical supply systems
Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred
Control systems troubleshooting experience
Work experience in a clean room desired
