Responsibilities

Works directly with business customers and technical teams on assigned projects

Performs analysis, design, development, and testing of business solutions

Analyzes, designs, and implements well-documented solutions for assigned features

Collaborates with technical teams to improve product functionality

Participates in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practices

Stays up-to-date with application roadmaps, relevant technology, and industry best practices

Identifies and resolves application security vulnerabilities

Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities

Supporting SAP S/4HANA applications within a private cloud environment (NS2) or on premise

Required

Bachelors degree, certification, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

United States Citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

Preferred

Functional proficiency in the following: development and applications (e.g., SQL, Python, HTML, JAVA)

Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)

Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training

Coursework or job experience related to: SAP S/4HANA & ECC module exposure (FI, MM, SD, PP, CO, HR/HCM, SCM,EWM)

Systems Analysis and Design methodologies

ERP Systems implementation/simulation projects

University coursework or related job experience associated to SAP that includes: ABAP development, BTP Integration Suite, OData services, SAC, BW4HANA
