Responsibilities

Develop and execute provider engagement strategies aligned with DaVita's mission, multi-year objectives and industry best practices
Set strategic direction, proactively remove obstacles, and communicate effectively to gain support and commitment, while managing tough conversations and influencing decision-making
Establish team goals, connect work to Village priorities, and consistently use metrics and dashboards to drive strong department results
Lead a team of managers and analysts accountable for owning functional areas of our engagement strategy by identifying and removing barriers, shaping a positive team culture, and developing individual capabilities through mentoring and coaching
Cultivate strong, cross-functional working relationships across other subject matter experts
Equip operations leaders with national capabilities that are tailored for local provider and/or market dynamics
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives using data and feedback, presenting reports to internal stakeholders and proactively aligning resources with priorities
Understand key regulatory and compliance guidelines related to referral sources
Stay informed on industry trends both specific to nephrology and broader health care dynamics

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
10+ years of experience in partner engagement, relationship management, experience-led growth or a related field
Proven ability to develop and implement successful provider engagement strategies
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position
Approximately 20-30% travel may be required for partner meetings and industry events
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or attend events
Ability to lift minimum of 5 lbs to a max of 50 lbs unassisted and able to stand, sit, stoop, walk, stretch, reach, and use full range of body motions
Manual dexterity as required for specific equipment and ability to use computer keyboard and peripherals

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred
PMP or related certification preferred
Strong preference for Denver-based candidates (office-oriented hybrid role, with three days required in-person/week)
